Moving to a new place during winter, when you plan to live of your own garden, isn't the best idea. The ground is too hard to do anything and the plants won't grow anyway.

So instead of starting with the garden, I'm starting with my paintings. I'm not saying I'm great, but I can support myself during the next couple of months. I do hope to get much better though, and be able to sell my paintings at higher prices, or even open my own gallery one day.

I've also started blogging about my new life. At the moment I'm just doing it to pass the time, since I can't paint all the time, and I have no idea how much time I'll have when I'll finally be able to start working in my garden. But it's fun for now.

Blossom is taking advantage of my free time as well, and asking attention when I'm not in front of my easle or in front of the computer. I don't mind though, it's fun to play with her. But I do hope spring will come around fast, and that I'll have more to do.

Notes:

• Short update, I know, but it's winter so she can't do a lot! She painted, looked for birds, played with her cat and blogged a little bit - this last thing was something she rolled wants for.
• If she goes further with her painting and her painting sell for some good money, I might let her open her own art gallery. Since art and crafting is her hobby, I figured she would most likely do something with that instead of doing something with her garden.
