Wilson - December 2017

Last update/Wedding/Next update

The Wilson Family
John is 39 and Sarah is 33
(Miles Donovan is 32)
Narrated by Sarah

A few weeks ago I found out I'm pregnant. I had been sick in the morning for a few days before I finally took the test that confirmed it.
It really wasn't a surprise. John and I have been trying ever since we got married in September, so we were both pretty excited about the news.
The only thing is that our house really isn't big enough for the 2 of us and a baby. So we invited Miles Donovan over to see what we could do with the house.
He came up with some really great ideas, that both and I really like. We're both very excited about this expansion and I can't wait to see the finished result.
I regards to the garden, I'm pretty happy it's winter at the moment, and the plants don't need any attention at the moment. This pregnancy is really tiring me, so I don't think I would have the energy to do something in the garden at the moment.
John and I decided to celebrate Christmas with just the 2 of us. I've been thinking about inviting Dana and Derek over, but since we haven't told anybody about the pregnacy, and the fact that I'm tired all the time, that didn't seem like a good idea.
So instead we spend the day enjoying each other.
And the snow.
We felt like little children at the end of the day, but it was some good fun.

Extra:
The house after the expansion, there now is room for Sarah, John and the baby.

Notes:
  • And with this update we end the introduction round (finally). There will be some changes in the updates for the next rounds, but I'll explain all of this in a later post!
  • I know it's not a long, or a very interesting update, but I wanted to introduction round to end with one last update from Sarah, since she started it as well.
  • I've always kind of planned for Sarah to be the first one to have a baby in Linfort, and John and Sarah decided the would agree with me. Their baby is due in September 2018. And I'm pretty excited to meet  this first baby in Linfort!

  1. It may not be a long update, but it makes for a nice cozy read! I really like the house and the idea of the soon-to-be parents spending Christmas "alone" together for probably the last time in many years to come.

  2. Exciting news for Sarah and John! It was a very sweet and lowkey Christmas, next year it will be quite different with a baby to spoil. Their expansion was great too!

  3. Congratulations on finishing the first round! I actually enjoyed the update - I'd been looking forward to seeing John and Sarah in their new married life. Hearing that they're expecting a baby made it even better.
